The Argory - a place I've such an attachment to.

I used to work here all through my teenage years - in the tearoom, membership, doing guided tours of the house, gift shop - you name it, I've done it.

It fills my heart to be here.

There's a gorgeous tearoom in Co Armagh at Black's Garden Centre. It's only been opened for less than two years and has its own Christmas Shop. Look how pretty it was yesterday in the snow when I called in to try the coffee on the school run.

When in Donegal at Castle Grove Country House. A seven course tasting menu. What an addition to my gastronomic tour of Ireland on my Victory Vegas! Just fabulous!

Oliver's Seafood Bar & Restaurant in Cleggan, Co Galway, is my new favourite spot. Here's a snippet from our time there as part of our gastronomic tour of Ireland on our motorbikes! #galway #gastronomictour #seafood #ireland #motorbiketour

Perfect indeed!

Thank you! We are in Cleggan now and the storm is incoming! The pub is heaving and it's only 2pm.

And, I've just had the best bowl of chowder I've ever tasted!

It's a good Monday!

Our first spin of the year out yesterday. It was super cold but so good to get out. We are heading to Fermanagh today for a St Patrick's Day trip. ☘️☘️☘️ We are on the hunt for good food. Yesterday's offering was so poor in an establishment which absolutely should not be anything less than top class.

Yesterday we travelled to The Bucks Head in Dundrum, Co Down after a few hours on Tyrella Beach tiring out the dogs.

Then we had a feast!

We have some new babies!!

This one is the bravest so far - two hens, five quails and we are hoping for two ducks.

As cute as I've ever seen.

Good morning!

Zero food waste in our home. Fried potatoes, left overs from dinner last night, with a sprinkling of black pepper and turmeric.

A hearty breakfast on a white frosty morning.

Carlingford Lough at sunset.

I took a trip to Carlingford yesterday evening to get some of my favourite Carlingford Oysters and boy was that a trip well worth taking!

My favourites! 😘

I've just got back from my luxury glamping weekend on the coast only to come home to this fabulous hamper from Sabzi - an award winning deli in Padstow, Falmouth, Truro and Newquay! Lush to say the least! Thank you to my lovely work colleague for sending me such a beautiful gift. #hamper #sabzi

This weekend's specials looked as phenomenal on the plate as they sounded on the menu. No matter what you order, you'll get a sense of food envy with every plate which passes by.

They don't serve alcohol. You can BYO and there's no loo so if you need one, it's over to the pub.

Last night I had a very tasty dining experience in Moran's of Glenarm on the County Antrim coast.

A quirky new establishment is the village seafood restaurant. It's small, but was booked out, and certainly packs a punch in terms of the flavoursome offerings with seafood leading the listings.
