Paul made pancakes tonight for us. I’ve never seen someone such a dab-hand at these things. He’s been making them to the same perfect shape for the last 20 years. He’s a keeper 😅

Popped Castlevania Adventure Rebirth on my Wii at the weekend. Genuinely up there as one of my favourite Castlevania games already. Amazing title.

Out of all my retro consoles, the PS2 is consistently the worst output. 99% of the catalogue is interlaced. The 4k tink has some nice edge enhanced de-interlacing but it’s making the best of a bad job. It’s got a PixelFX Retro gem HDMI mod, which certainly makes it crisper. Still not perfect though

Celebrating the release of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 by playing the original on the PC (I know it doesn’t look like a pc, but there’s one on the other side of the wall, and I got creative with hdmi cables and floorboards)

So I bought a PS5 Pro and a Dualsense Edge… well, because I wanted to. Was a slightly stressful Christmas with various family members ill in a concerning way. So I think I needed a lift!

Restarted #c25k this week. Really need to lose some weight as I’m approaching the big 5-0. Started back on week 3 (after previously completing it 3 years back) not too bad a run out. Chuffed.

Never really played Dr Mario. But giving this GB color Rom hack/remake a try on my LCD GBC. It’s stressful.
