The problem doesn't fall on Repubs, we already knew that. Trump has full control of both Republican leaders in the Senate and house. 8 Democrats caved fully knowing that they weren't going to get any more concessions than what Republicans were initially offering. This is just confirmation of it.

I have a friend that lives in Hong Kong and he tells me that out of all the cities in China, only Beijing feels very authoritative. Shenzen and especially Shanghai are just like any other western city. He also tells me the Chinese people are not like we describe them in the western world.
