I will talk about it more closer to the book’s release, but I did have the feeling that I was reading an instant classic— and also that that first 70 pages was some of the toughest, most uncomfortable writing that I have read in a long time; and then every page after that was a revelation

it hurt me so good but i cannot stress enough how thrilling and bonkers it is. extreme not as in snuff or pornographic tragedy but extreme as in taking its ideas and ambitions and pushing them further than you thought possible. it’s exhilarating to read

when she first sent me the pdf i opened it on my phone and ended up reading the whole fucking book like that in one sitting. i couldn’t sleep for hours afterward i was just heaving crying
