Lecturer in Applied Psychology, University of Edinburgh.

Currently researching cognitive processing in people with OCD. Other research interests include early life stress, neuroscience, and mental ill health more generally.
I went to a local Lebanese takeaway to help fuel me through exam moderation. Very keen on these little baklawa baskets.

It takes a weight off your shoulders when you own your own home (with a mortgage). Also there's no longer mould everywhere, as was the norm when renting.

Uf I'm sorry, what a shame it didn't go back to the original reviewers. My guinea pig Sharon sends her commiserations!

We're looking for people to take part in our research into thinking patterns in obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).

People with OCD are especially welcome to participate, but you can take part even if you don't have OCD.

When I leave my writing alone for a while I tend to get scared of it. But I'm glad to say I'm back on it now and enjoying bringing ideas together.

Here's a picture of my guinea pig Sharon.

It was striking to see this post come up in my feed immediately below your post about how girls feel under pressure to look a certain way.

If you sign up you will receive an email inviting you to complete an online survey which will take about 15 minutes. One week later you'll receive another email inviting you to complete a second survey which takes only 5 minutes.

Last year was difficult as I had 5 fellowship rejections for my OCD research ideas. But I've just sent out the 4th of four surveys in a Delphi study to progress these ideas.

Things are moving more slowly than if I had a fellowship, but they are moving, thanks to the support of people with OCD.

I know this meme is originally from The Other Place but I wanted to keep the author in the image.
