Un ejemplo de esto que cuento: en 1980 se estrenaron la miniserie de Fortunata y Jacinta y una miniserie de Orgullo y prejuicio. Desde entonces, y según Wikipedia, de OyP se ha hecho una peli, una serie, se está preparando otra más y además unas 20 versiones adaptándola a otras épocas y lugares.
