Gay elder, married, nerd, gen X (we exist) occasional wizard, baker, true neutral with chaos rising, comic book aficionado, transformers fan, probable Decepticon.
This year the pre Christmas slump in motivation is hitting hard. Got to battle through another 2 weeks of work and I’d really much rather be enjoying Christmas lights, going to the cinema, baking mince pies, virtually anything else.

Went to a gig last night which was really good but I fell a little short changed. I feel that the headliner should be playing for about 90 minutes, not calling it after an hour, coming back on to play a 2 song encore and the entire thing finishing after 75 minutes. Is this a thing now?

Tories have been out of office for 1 year and they are all “we will
abolish stamp duty”, “we will pay down the national debt”. And the only sane response is “you were in power for 12 years, so why didn’t you do any of these things?”

Two scandals in one career. For a clever man he’s shown very poor judgement.

As we now seem to be in strike season in London, it’s basically not worth booking anything that requires travel to be available as you can rarely get a refund on your tickets.

Looking for a larder/pantry cupboard and everything is either £100 and made of chipboard or £1000 bespoke. Is there anything decent in the mud range anymore. Even searching for second hand ones isn’t giving options.

EVRI are very keen on feedback aren’t they. That’s like the 3rd email they’ve sent. I ordered something, you delivered it in the day that you said you would. That’s my basic expectation of a delivery service. Deliver the thing in good condition when you say you will.

Galvatron Energon Universe alt mode. Not convinced of this one, the standard gun form is better.

The order is dodgy (Up is a much better album than this) but it reminded me of how much I listened to this band in the 90s and 00s and saw them live a few times. Ah nostalgia. Guess I know what I’m listening to today.

Oh new RSC season. Oh, yet another Henry V. Oh, another Macbeth. Oh, an import from another theatre. Very dull looking season.

Having a quick look at SXSW London and, while admittedly I’m not the target audience here, it looks like a mid range film festival and a sub Great Escape Music festival. I don’t get the hype

Browsing audiobooks and some are like “total length 42 hours” and I’m like “that’s a weeks work, it’s meant to be relaxing not an endurance test”!

This Eurovision semi final seems very low energy. And this weird interview bit is horrible cringe.
