Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael continue to make these choices because they both share a fanatical belief in the private sector and profit-driven market economics - but the privatisation of housing has been a complete economic and social disaster for our people!

The housing crisis will never end while Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael continue to CHOOSE put land speculators, property developers, bankers, estate agents, landlords and other property profiteers in effective control of the housing sector, with predictably disastrous results.

What’s even worse, these figures only count those accessing emergency homeless accommodation - they don’t count the thousands of hidden homeless, rough sleepers, refugees and others in the state who find themselves without a home.

It’s now 2025 and homelessness is at record levels, with almost 16,000 people in this state without a home. And we once again are hearing the same thing from the establishment parties!
