What I saw said they lost all "contested" elections. I know a lot of school board candidates run unopposed (as they did in my local election this year). Not saying it's true, just pointing out the difference in the version I saw.

How is this legal? She was appointed to a 10 year term and confirmed by the Senate. It's not an executive branch appointment.
