Hey peeps! Do you like Indian food? Who doesn't?!
Then come along and help support my daughter Carys Chacko with her fundraising efforts to get to London AND eat some yummy kai. A selection of breads, rice, and mains. Drinks can be purchased from the bar for extra 🙂

I have funds now to travel to international conferences to support my research. I’ve not really had access to that before.

I saw an excellent conference advertised yesterday.

One I’d usually want to go to.

It’s in the US.

Not now. Nope.

Academic freedom there is dying. Quickly.

There’s a Pride market in Te Atatu today, near the library. There are cops at every entrance and it’s quiet.

I’m enraged. This is what the bigots of DC want.

Meanwhile Ms17 is there trying to sell her pride related crochet and it’s quiet.

Will I be protesting DC tomorrow?

F**K yes.

Another absolutely brilliant read. Cannot wait for his next book.

A particularly alarming read in light of recent events in the US.

All about digital capitalism, how insidious it is, and how to resist it.

We are truly blessed in Aotearoa.

Back from the Kepler today and trying to stay with that zen for a moment longer.

A phenomenal read. I knew the US was a steaming pile of crap when it came to interference in other countries but I had no clue how extensive that was (is) or how rabidly and obsessively anti communist it was (is).

Mōrena koutou! What a beautiful day 🤩

This time though the move to destroy trans research would be much faster. A digital cleansing would occur.

A modern bonfire removing all references to trans people, gender, anything remotely near that.

Words scrubbed. Research banned.

Few more pictures from a truly historic day.

So glad I made the drive down to join the hīkoi. The mood was phenomenal, the movement cannot be stopped.

It’s been a while since I’ve been here and weirdly I seem to have acquired a whole lot more followers. Hi 👋🏼

How is everyone doing here? I made a lawn recently. Yes those are my toes - or dogs as the youthful folks say.
