Best thing Lars von Trier ever did.
RIP Udo Kier who made every film 1 better. My favourite memory of him though is from a TV series, when he is born fully grown in The Kingdom. One of the most perfect character entrances of all time.

So they decided to fix Wicked's Act II by going all in on Glinda and Elphaba's relationship, with Ariana Grande playing Glinda even gayer than the first time around. Fiyero's scenes aren't even comphet, just scenes from a different movie confusingly edited in.

Lovecraft's ghouls from Pickman's Model are fun. Evil subterranean dogmen who love fucking with puritans.
What's your favourite monster/creature from literature? I'm thinking Tuunbaq from Dan Simmon's The Terror, the triffids from Wyndham's Day of the Triffids, the demon from M.R. James' Casting The Runes, Grendel, Pennywise, etc.

I think Happosai basically works in the Ranma manga, as a takedown of the lovable pervert master character; he's completely irredeemable, everyone hates him and he keeps getting beaten up. However, in a media context where that character type has mostly disappeared, he's more than a little oof.

Huh, I didn't realize the "Khomeini appoints the Joker as the new Iranian ambassador to the UN so he can gas it" arc was a direct continuation of the story where the readers got to vote by phone whether the Joker should murder Robin (yes won).
