Not the best time to be in Milan. But, it's better than the 36°C they saw last week.

Would have happily spent the day here.

Being the birthday boy has its perks. A cocktail making class in Bow Lane, Dublin - in the Jameson Distillery had me merry by 4pm. Strawberry Sour, Old Fashioned and a whiskey punch, to name a few.

Are other teams covered in the same manner after a final defeat? #MUFC

All in all.... Dublin - North Cork City (NCC) - Tralee - Blarney - NCC - Dublin was a 773.1km trip. And an easy trip at that. #ElectricVehicles work.

And so ends me talking to myself.

17% in the tank when we got home.
May 18, 2025 at 10:15 PM
Soon as we plugged in to charge, it was toilet breaks for the kiddos and then well needed lunch for everyone in Cashel. ~33mins from plug in to plug out and the car wen from 13% to 78%. Easy, and on our way again. #ElectricVehicles

Thanks to the SoC on arrival, external conditions and battery pre-conditioning on the way, the 130kW on board DC charger managed to pull 129kW for a time. Every little helps.
May 18, 2025 at 10:10 PM
Arrived in Cashel with 13%.
May 18, 2025 at 10:08 PM
Left Cork in the high 40s and trip computer said we'd get to Cashel with 11%.
May 18, 2025 at 10:07 PM
Back to Dublin tomorrow. We'll stop in Cashel to get the girls lunch (and to stop them killing each other. Car will use Ionity chargers there. Trip computer telling me we'll get there with 22%. That's plenty for that trip, plus a drive in / out of the city now with the kiddos. #ElectricVehicles

20+ mins to and from the hotel to the church for the wedding ceremony left us with 87%. Left the hotel this morning, 1½ trip, 104km - trip computer said we'd have 58% when we arrive. Arrived with 56% as we took a small detour to Blarney for lunch.

My turn to recharge
May 15, 2025 at 4:54 PM
For shits and giggles, if I need to drive straight home from Tralee, trip computer says I'd arrive with 7% without stopping. But, it's back to Cork on Saturday to load up the car for a Sunday trip. In anyways, tomorrow's driving to the church wedding will take some juice.

Under an hour on the Tesla chargers to get from 43% to full. Notification received, it's full. Gonna move the car and settle in with a pint.
May 15, 2025 at 4:38 PM
On site Tesla superchargers, so no need to be fretting.
May 15, 2025 at 4:36 PM
Arrived with 43%. I'll take that.
May 15, 2025 at 4:36 PM
Course she's running late so I'll ramble around the city.
May 15, 2025 at 1:16 PM
Tralee bound. Forgot to take a pic of current SoC. It was 73% after charging yesterday. Errands in Cork city has it at 71%. Car telling me we'll get there with 44%. But, need to head back into Cork city first to pick up herself.
May 15, 2025 at 1:15 PM
Cork city's charging infrastructure is atrocious so without a home charger @ the in-laws I'm reliant on that 50kW charger (no fast chargers nearby anywhere) so it took 40 mins to get from 23% to 74%. More than enough to get me Tralee (45% on arrival). Had a coffee and a read of the news so no harm.
May 14, 2025 at 9:35 PM
Been times in warmer weather & we've arrived with ~30%, so 23% isn't bad going. 23% fine for what I need in Cork in the AM but for the onward trip to Tralee tomorrow, trip computer say we get there with -5%. Caution erring aside, don't want to risk it. Quickish 50kW charger top up in Blackpool.
