Kristina is a cyborg. Her machine is a labour of love, father's desperate attempt to help his dying daughter. Kristina knows her fate, which is to turn into a machine piece by piece until they hit unreplaceable organs and then die. She has made peace with the idea, it will be okay

BONUS: Our main characters are called Kristina and Viktor. Their story was inspired by one line of dialogue that popped into my head one morning. I wanted to give romance a go for once and there isn't enough queer steampunk!!
