AHHH! I've just learned I won the Samurai Scholarship to go to GDC this year 😭🎉 I'm beyond excited for all the people I'll meet.

Would you have any tips for a first-time GDC attendant?

I hope to finally meet some of you in person there!

The Mexican National Registry of Missing and Unlocated Persons currently reports 121,544 people still missing — 259 more than just 5 days ago.

Emilia Perez disrespects every single one of them. So does the Academy.

So: a guy makes a movie in two languages he doesn’t speak, about a topic that’s so, so sensible to mexican culture, that he clearly doesn’t understand, so Mexicans say “fuck you”, and they tell us “wait an see it first” but Mexico is the last country it premieres on?
I’m hating Emilia Pérez so much.

I screamed a little bit when they mentioned Arco. Everyone should play Arco. Go play Arco. Now.
Got flooded with messages because Balatro won and they mentioned Arco in their speech!

Congrats @localthunk.bsky.social and thank you so much for sharing our game!
Best Debut Indie award goes to Balatro #TheGameAwards

I’m applying for economic support to go to GDC next year and one requirement is to follow them on X. Oh, boy, the things we do to follow our dreams: reactivate my Twitter account.

I had the privilege of doing some Testing for Mexico, 1921 and I’m so proud to see the acknowledgment it’s getting. Specially Paola Vera’s work, leading this amazing team to tell a compelling, moving, and relevant story.

Bluesky has been one of the biggest highlights of this month. Mostly because it’s a space that, I feel, still has room for kindness. Boy, how I’ve missed kindness.

Every so often, the 'This is too woke' blather comes up.

Let me be clear. If you say 'too woke' and 'story' together, it's a clear sign that you don't understand storytelling.

Storytelling should spread its net wide. It should reflect the world as it is. It should contain characters of all -
