Interestingly, the Cairene signing variety seems widespread throughout Upper Egypt but it’s actually the north that seems to vary more
Certain semantic fields vary much more than others (colors vary quite little, fruits and veggies greatly)

Anyone who is interested in the Nubian language should know about Mohammed Metwally Badr (1909-1988) and his works.
He published a grammar of Nobiin in Arabic in 1955 and a pedagogical textbook for beginners in 1976 called "Read in Nubian"
