Absolutely loved DOOM: The Dark Ages! The fast paced, rhythmic action worked perfectly for my taste, way more than the action puzzle style of Eternal. Think I prefer his over 2016 and that's a high bar.

The retro forum is just too good.
I spent an unreasonable amount of time building an as authentic as possible Y2K style stream complete with glitchy low framerate cam & crunchy mic audio & even a real working retro themed forum as a bit of a joke

I really wish I could be excited about Switch 2, but the price is such a hype killer. Looks like it's going to be the first nintendo console I don't get on launch since the Super Nintendo.

Personally, I'm remaining open to it, but it does feel a little like announcing Nightreign and The Duskbloods one after the other is a weird move. Either one in isolation is already kind of a hard sell, even if they don't end up meriting all the negativity, but both together might compound it a bit.

Late to the party but The Game Awards this year were fantastic, both from a production and announcement standpoint. I'm typically quite harsh of industry events like this, but what a show.

What's some accidental music nostalgia you have? For me a lot of emo music reminds me of hanging out in the local Games Workshop store around 2005-2007. Not a genre I gravitate towards but sometimes I put it on to take me back to those days.

Love the post-game support that Stellar Blade has been receiving, unfortunate that the NieR costumes are paid despite no gameplay content. Just wish I had more of a reason to go back to the game after getting the Platinum.

Okay I was a tad unfair to the Metaphor: Re Fantazio soundtrack, there are a bunch of amazing tracks sandwiched between some much more average stuff. I just don't think anything will have the impact of 'Beneath the Mask' but that's the highest of bars to reach.
