And how in-built the racism is, by the automatic assumption of where Black people belong in the work force. Why didn't they assume the White 'superior patriots' would be rushing in droves to till their fields? Could it be that this was just never the history of how the USA was actually built?? 🤷🏾‍♂️

Amazing! Some yellow roses have the most amazing fragrance! My Jude the Obscure is a pale yellow with a powerful fruity fragrance! Carolyn Knight's a nice anise-scent. My proper yellows are Golden Celebration and 100 Idèes Jardin and they are just wonderful in form and fragrance!

None of the gop can be trusted. These are putin-Installations, using Kremlin tactics. putin did the same one time, planting false info. about his shaking hand and Parkinson's for distraction. Sometimes the news IS too good to be true and planted for a predictable reaction. #Distraction

Love this! 🤩 I have Lauren's Purple Grape, with a rich, juicy, deep purple colour, also self seeded this year. I'm definitely saving seeds to plant elsewhere though.

Already??? Wow.. 😦 Ours are just dropping the first petals, and they self seeded from last year so they had an early start. Central Europe here.

Wow- stunning! I thought Pilgrim had more white towards the edges so my first guess was Charles Darwin.

I love it! Architecturally in the border, as well as for grilling fish for flavour. ☺️ I'm not a fan of aniseed flavour all the time (I don't eat licorice) but fennel/seed have a special place in my kitchen. It's also just stunning- reminds me of Great Dixter and other great British gardens.

I also just planted some for the first time! 🙂 I planted purple ones- apparently they taste sweeter. I’ve prepared a trench and planted the crowns but no sign of life yet. This quite an unusually dry Spring but alse still in thw time for cooler temperatures. Good luck to us! 👍🏾

🤣🤣🤣 I think it is a type of sucker-mouth catfish called Hypostomus. They're really popular in the aquarium trade so this must be one in its natural habitat, grown large. I've seen something in my Insta feed where people eat them regularly in some parts of the world. They look unappealing though.

And in the forests, I hear cuckoo's, owls and a whole range of local birds.

OMG, Catalunya is my favourite region in Spain! 🥰 Stepping off the plane in Girona always feels like stepping through a magical portal; I'm always so happy, and for a long time, Barcelona was my favourite city in the world. I'm in Brandenburg, Germany so no mountains but LOTS of cranes.

LOVING the EU umbrella choice! 🇪🇺 But don't they need rain? 😅

They look great! My humble experience is that they will perk up soon. Did you grow them yourself from seed?
