Bike Stolen: Tern HSD S8i e-bike stolen from out front of Blaisdell YMCA between 9:50-11:30am (during yoga class) They cut the chain lock and back wheel lock. Police report filed, hopefully this act was caught on Y’s surveillance camera.

A Jeep Cherokee driver (76/F) hit & killed a child (7/M) crossing West Hudson Blvd near Food Lion in Gastonia NC with his brother (10).
Gastonia police charged the parents with felony involuntary manslaughter and felony & misdemeanor child neglect.
Neither the driver, nor NC DOT, has been charged.

Hey, we could use this opportunity to MASSIVELY increase the E-Bike rebate, because Guess what? E-Bikes are WAY better for the environment than electric cars, and they are WAY cheaper. A $1000 rebate per person is far easier to do as a govt than a $7000 one is.
