We’re looking for a postdoc to join our Max Planck group in Germany some time in 2026. If you have computational and/or neuroimaging expertise, and are interested in questions intersecting perception and cognition, please reach out! I’ll also be happy to chat at the #Bernsteinconference this week.

I guess calligraphy would be a better term than penmanship but I've had a couple pops.
Oh shit - I forgot TNs QB transfered to UCLA. He gets paid one way or another but sheesh.
Cursive? Because down 23-0 at the half penmanship is about all they've got.
We are in complete agreement!
I realize I'm moving the goalposts but with the utmost respect I put zero stock in the results of animal studies. It's build-a-circuit through hypertraining.
The argument was re: the parameters of your hypothetical experiment, e.g., surgeons remove the minimal amount of brain tissue necessary ergo they must be worried about removing a "critical" brain area.
I smell a rat. Seems orcastrsted.
Post hoc ergo proptor hoc?
43 years on this earth and I still can't figure out tennis scoring.

Attending #ECVP next week? Please seek me out if you're potentially interested in a postdoc:

Fair. Do give a shout next time you're passing through. I know many, cheaper, and better coffee places.
That's your fault for staying at a casino (the only place you'll pay $10 for a coffee anywhere in town). I think you'd like midtown on a Saturday afternoon though.
New paper day! Whereas earlier studies have shown that human eye movement patterns are influenced by the physical properties of remembered stimuli, we show that they are also influenced by stimulus meaning. h/t to Ali Pexsa (not on bluesky) who led this work.
