Vesperia had my favourite cast (Yuri and Raven being top picks alongside Repede- because how cool is that doggo?!)

Crow Country came out this year and it’s a fantastic lil revisit to classic survival horror.
I love how the characters are modelled like dolls with sockets- it really lets the creepies move in such disturbing ways!!

Tangle Tower!! I love mysteries and escape rooms and this game combines the two with a quirky cast and colourful puzzles.
Such a good story and twist and the characters are so lovingly animated.
It also has some beautiful background art 💜

I will never not love Oblivion. The silly NPCs, the voice over from Sir Patrick Stewart as The Emperor and the one and only Imperial Guard song.

Pokemon Let’s Go was so fun to play through. Got my first shiny Ponyta (twice!!).
I just love the exclusion of wild battles; makes the trainer battles feel less tedious!!
Being able to ride around on your Pokemon is always a welcome touch too (and hairstyles for Evee and Pikachu) 🥹

Pokemon Let’s Go was so fun to play through. Got my first shiny Ponyta (twice!!).

I grew up with Pocket Paradise (big DS kid), and it’s inspired mine and my partners indie game Wunderwurld.
He did only just realise you’re raising them to go off to parties and be split open for candy, but I think we can overlook that… 🍬

Dragon Quest Sentinels of the Starry Skies was fantastic. I loved the customisation and whizzing around in the lil golden train.
