One of many reasons I learned to treat him the same way I treat anyone I choose to date: go on behavior, not just their words.
Trump says, “no one cares about veterans more than me.”

But his playbook says something else:

📌 Strip disability pay from veterans
📌 Cut 30,000+ VA jobs that help disabled vets

The Project 2025 agenda:
Gut the government, gut veterans, and funnel the money to Trump’s billionaire friends.

MAGA men are now saying the quiet part out loud: they want to repeal the 19th Amendment and strip women of their right to vote. Todd Beeton examines this ugly trend. Also, Jay Kuo unpacks the real failure underlying Senate Democrats' deal to reopen the government.
This Week In The Big Picture
In the aftermath of last week’s blue wave election rout, the 19th Amendment has been trending on X.

I also took logic in my junior year of college. It also helped me learn how to better distinguish between a statement that was valid vs. one that was invalid.
I took formal logic in college because it counted for meeting a couple requirements of my degree. I didn’t know what it was but it sounded interesting enough and less difficult than a class that unambiguously met whatever requirement it was I was trying to fulfill. I will forever be grateful 1/3

Todd Beeton looks at the MAGA civil war erupting over the Heritage Foundation’s defense of white supremacist Nick Fuentes. Cammy Pedroja exposes the GOP’s anti-woman motives behind cutting SNAP. And Jay Kuo unpacks Trump’s abuse of emergency powers before the Court.
This Week In The Big Picture
As Donald Trump’s approval plummets among core constituencies and as the GOP’s Congressional majorities continue to fail the American people, the Republican coalition that drove Trump to a second term is in disarray.

Today is my birthday.
My birthday wish: do as I'm doing - volunteer at your local food bank or where folks get fed for free.
Who knows when SNAP benefits get restored. Folks are going hungry right now and need our help.

Fantastic last-minute turnout for the Bay Area transit funding rally this morning with @transbaycoalition.bsky.social.

We need @governor.ca.gov to follow through on a promised 750 million for transit, or risk devastating service cuts and a spiral of traffic nightmares.

In July @governor.ca.gov promised an emergency loan to stop Bay Area transit cuts.

But with just a few days left to issue the loan and Newsoms hasn't made good on his promise.
