No of course not. Corbyn has never been the answer to anything. Something like Blair's New Labour, combined with a stampeded back towards the EU.

As for which of the sorry lot could actually pull that off, I have no idea.

Probably didn't think of it.

The problem is the mouth-foamers will see the £250 million and treat us to wall-to-wall invective, not knowing/caring about the nuance of the situation.

No. I want a different flavour of Labour to get enough votes so that they can retain power in coalition and keep Reform and the Tories out.

That's fantasy talk. FPTP makes it impossible for the Green Party to actually win a GE.

At best they might get 50-80 MPs. Which sounds amazing until you realise that in doing so they'd also 100.00% guarantee a Reform victory.

Being a much bigger part of the then opposition is v little consolation.

Issue is that no matter what Labour does, their Brexit policy makes anything good feel like finding £1 after losing £1m.

Yes. They keep cropping up, having a pop and getting blocked.

Nearly as annoying as the "Jeremy Corbyn was right" crowd. But not quite.

And then in 2029 we will break out of the Labour doom-loop and get plunged into the horrific chaos of a Reform government.

It seems inevitable at this point. Labour are driving that awful outcome with everything they say and do.

It will deservedly end the Labour party. But that's no consolation.

The EU have the negotiating bandwidth to deal with anyone if they choose to.

He'd be MUCH less likely to be PM if Labour were going hell for leather rejoin.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if both the Tories and Labour are reduced to non-entities in 2029.
