Actor, writer, audio describer, reluctant producer. Wrote and performed that Harold Shipman play.
I've been after something decent to use since the MacOS update which broke Celtx - I'd not even heard of Fade In, thank you so much!

I remember when there was a discussion on Twitter about Shein's manufacturing practices and some apologists invented all sorts of fantastical machinery and technology to avoid facing the more horrifying truth. Reminds me of this comedian's joke.

It baffles me that so few people are sounding this alarm. Trump said it himself last July: “In four years, you don’t have to vote again.”

He has baseball caps saying “Trump 2028”, Grijalva still hasn’t been sworn in… no-one seems to be joining the dots: there will be no more elected Democrats.

Any agency that signs “her” is asking for a massive row with all its other clients.

And let's face, they don't come much stranger...

Packages of anything in a prime number are annoying.

I would understand a seven-pack of something you might use one of daily - it's one week's worth - but ham?

Actors?! A few at the top of the tree may make fortunes, but the vast majority of us (roughly 96%, the last time Equity checked) hold down full-time second jobs to support ourselves. It's one of the most insecure professions there is.

Strangely, I had less concern for Sal and Dean chasing the spirit of jazz across the dying beat scene of America, and more for the numberless horde of women they left raising fatherless children in their wake...

Gaaah, bloody hell. I misread that as "The Road" and thought "weird comparison, but okay."

Re-read it and felt like an idiot, not least because I think On The Road is self-important drivel. Count me squarely on team Fear & Loathing.

And a smaller fourth, who love both (raises a shy hand)?

And all the pleas for reviews for everything! I write for a living, I’m not giving them free labour to help them advertise…

Presuming Ed’s in Brighton is the only place I’ve found that has Fritz Cola, and go there regularly for that reason.

That fucker got me too! Utterly infuriating.

The play’s superb as well. First staging had John Hurt and Leonard Rossiter!

We had three baby gulls (gullings? Gullets?) nesting on our roof last year. Little bastards used to tap on the window of our attic bedroom at 5am for weeks on end.

Something like 96% of all actors in the UK have second jobs now. People don't like to discuss it much, but it's endemic.

If you have Netflix, Derry Girls may still be on there, and it’s bloody brilliant.

There should be tonnes of clips of the NI Parliament on BBC iplayer.

It’ll be dull as dishwater for your students, but you’ll get a good spread of NI accents.
