Morning all. Once upon a time this bird was brightly coloured & very outgoing & known as the ‘Spectacular Heron’, but it got far too big for its boots & as punishment its plumage turned brown & it became fearful of crowds; proving the adage: ‘once Bittern, twice shy’. Have a great weekend! xx 🪶
