Update: The visit went well. They still talk about guns every other minute, my step mom thinks my dad is autistic (yup, he definitely is) and my brothers ragged on me for not visiting more often. But no one said anything homophobic or mean and seemed to genuinely enjoy me being there.

I just completed level 4000 on the game I’ve been playing for eleven years. Which means I have completed roughly one level of this puzzle dot game each day for eleven years. This makes me feel both impressed and disappointed in myself in equal measure.
