Crafter, educator, contemplative.
Compassionate, grumpy, snark-filled.
Subverting despair through unlicensed acts of goodwill.

A grateful shoutout to my students this morning.
As I wait for a tow on the side of the road of my commute, they scheduled and recorded a Zoom meeting in which they delivered and recorded their presentations.

We don't need to rely on Epstein's credibility to know Trump is a terrible individual.
We have observation.

Rudy Giuliani?
Okay, are you ready?
I don't know who he is.

I'm not sure I can get down with slamming Bernie on the boarder.
Citizenship is inherently exclusory. The definition itself implies that some are not included. We can discuss ways to expand on inclusion, but to say everyone is a citizen means there essentially is no group.

Legitimately, midnight and the minutes surrounding it are the time I have allocated for social media. RIP interactions or freshness on the feeds.

Purple Heart recipient kills civilians.
My spouse is visiting Southport next week. The restaurant next to this, Provisions, is a family favorite (great fresh seafood).
Just think the current administration is about making the military the most lethal - and they already don't take care of their own.
'Highly premeditated' attack at North Carolina waterfront bar leaves 3 dead and 5 wounded

One thing I know Tylenol WON'T do is release the Epstein files.

Treating stress headaches with it only helps the symptom.

Sophomore year, computer applications class.
I was composing a newsletter to a roleplaying group I led.
Everything stopped as we tried to make meaning out of what happened, and I poured it into the newsletter.
The next week we watched newscasts in every class <1/2>

If you don't think the draft dodging president will reinstitute conscription and send our nation's youth to war to have us focus on that instead of his shitty domestic policies, abuses of power, violation of the constitution, and lack of accountability or transparency regarding ANYTHING - you wrong.

We discussed Hill-Collin's "What is Intersectionality" today in my WRT class.
Despite this recently being described as no-no terminology for the democratic party, students were excited to engage in the framework.

Too many of us have not listened to Book of Dreams, and it shows.
For the youngins, this is a classic rock pun, not an embrace of fascism.
We need a Steve Miller for the left.

Someone who’ll turn the Democratic Party into a big ol’ jetliner that’ll fly like an eagle, take the money and run. Abracadabra, just like that.

A student over the weekend emailed to ask if I could follow up on contextualizing their grade for Cal Tech admissions.
I agreed, checked my records to refresh myself, then wrote about how the C- was a snapshot of course performance in a truncated session. <1/3>

You can see America
With its tired poor avenging disgrace.
Peaceful, loving youth against the brutality
Of plastic existence.
