I love painting and playing Warhammer. Horus Heresy, Fantasy Battles, MESBG, Kill Team, Aeronautica, Necromunda, 40K. He/Him/They. Warhammer is for Everyone. Backdrop books used in my model photos are from Handiwork Games.
Thanks very much!

Looking forward to seeing that!

There's no such thing as too much artillery when it comes to the Death Korps of Krieg...

Oh wow, that's fantastic - I thought briefly that was a full sized one! Ah you know I'm going to have to do tiny Auxilia as well as full sized ones now...

Ah brilliant, these look really nice! Looking forward to seeing what you do with them

Aha, that's a good idea, I need some more Moria Goblins, I might do a few of those just to mix up the poses a bit and make more Captains!
November 11, 2025 at 7:20 AM
Oh no! Was that for a Blood Angels conversion? Did you have a spare at least?

Update - I've salvaged things by using the hand and sword to make a Númenor captain model from a spare spearman. I believe this is a classic conversion which is still in the Armies of Lord of the Rings book as representing a captain.

Well it didn't work out well for Elendil... If I were to take the son's point of view (for no reason at all) then at least Isildur became king because of it!

I nearly did that as the blade slipped cutting it off the sprue!

Not a lot really - main differences are Special Strikes are gone (which I don't mind as I always forgot to use them). In the way rolls are all 4+, and they have tweaked how Courage works and added an Intelligence characteristic. The basic mechanics are unchanged, still the same game.

You know what - I don't think I do actually, I'll have to put that right!

I love Legions for that, I did the same with my World Eaters. Try and replicate the same army in a bigger scale, you get to see all your characters and units in different tactical situations, fighting different battles

Both! The models I'm working on at the moment are for full sized Horus Heresy which will work out at the strength of a reinforced platoon, but I'll collect at least a company sized version of the same force for Legions.

I can't wait to get my hands on these and turn them into a Heresy militia!
November 8, 2025 at 1:31 PM
I might have a spare set, let me dig around when I'm home and I'll let you know! Yes agreed, he's fantastic, my favourite is still the one with the riding crop but that skulking menacing vibe is beautiful

Yeah the whole Lesk series was (is) fantastic, I've still got those lovely Hell's Last models to paint!
November 7, 2025 at 9:07 PM
Some really nice models, and a lovely paint job as always! I much prefer the Cadians after Cadia was destroyed, they were narratively a lot stronger, it made for such a compelling tale of defiance and stoicism.
