They should study journalists’ brains like they do with football players after they die.
The emails that you’re seeing now are news in themselves, but that’s because of how they’re coming out—a congressional committee released them—& the context in which they’re being viewed. A guy emailing a reporter talking about old girlfriends or saying someone is “dirty” is not a whole news story.

Chat, is it good when you’re being ruled by an increasingly senile monster, so depraved he’s described by his pal, Jeffrey “Child Molester” Epstein, as “evil beyond belief”?

Why again did the NYT sit on all of this?
Wow.

Jeffrey Epstein writing about Trump in 2018:

"He feels alone and is nuts!!! I told everyone from day one. Evil beyond belief. Mad, and most thought I was speaking metaphorically. It's obvious he could crack. Stormy Daniels? Lies after lies after lies."

This is what male solidarity & collective action to oppress women looks like:

Artist Andres Serrano--successful, but nowhere near the same class as Thiel & other billionaires in the files--stating that he'll vote for Trump, despite his politics, out of *sympathy* with T's sexual assaults on women.

The Epstein-Barr virus (EBV)—aka the “mono” virus—can also trigger Myalgic Encephalomyelitis Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (MECFS) and is a risk factor for Multiple Sclerosis.

COVID-19 infection is one of the things that can trigger the reactivation of EBV (others include mold or mycotoxin exposure).
🦠NEW: Scientists just confirmed that the “Mono” virus can trigger and sustain lupus — something researchers had suspected for decades, but only based on anecdotal evidence.

My story for @sciam.bsky.social 🧪
The Virus That Causes Mono May Also Cause Lupus
Early findings indicate that Epstein-Barr Virus may also cause the autoimmune disease lupus

We're told "don't escalate, they're looking for an excuse", but when the gestapo publicly celebrate their unprovoked violence (much against children) it sure seems like we're past "don't escalate"...
"While Border Patrol photographers snapped photos, one agent shouted, “Everyone say, ‘Little Village!’”"

ICE/CBP have targeted Little Village for 10+ yrs. In just the last 3 wks, they've repeatedly (3x) used chemical weapons, aimed guns, & threatened residents, most recently this past weekend.
Border Patrol Agents Pose At 'The Bean' For Apparent Photo Op
The photo op came after agents tear-gassed a Little Village street and were spotted in the area numerous times. At the Bean, one agent shouted, "Everyone say, Little Village!"

Read every word & share with everyone you know. This is real life here in Chicago. Americans need to know this grotesque reality & stand with us.
Kyle Kingsbury is not a journalist. He is not an op-ed writer.

He is a computer safety researcher.

And he has written one of the most compelling, comprehensive accounts of the ongoing hell in Chicago that you could possibly imagine.

In under 1600 words.

And the truly craziest thing abt this cave is that someone seeing the invasion of Chicago firsthand, Dick Durbin, doesn't understand this.
seems to me that those democrats inclined not to fight perceive themselves as living through a somewhat ordinary cycle of presidential overreach and backlash and not something much more significant and dangerous

Over the years my workplace has shifted gender balance back and forth, every time we had more women things were smoother, more productive, and more enjoyable.
the women in the workplace discourse is very funny because a man who can act normal in an office environment that's predominantly female is absolutely on easy street. it's maybe the best gig anyone in history has had. and yet for many guys it is utterly impossible

Bumping this devastating, essential reporting by @dmbrown-tboy.bsky.social again. Rideshare workers, already treated terribly by the union-busting corps they work for, are being kidnapped from O'Hare as city-hired security guards watch.
new: federal agents have targeted rideshare drivers at o'hare on at least ten separate days since october 10.

in some cases, agents returned to abduct drivers multiple times in a single day, taking as many as ten to 20 people each time.

This was horrific to watch. Agents entering a daycare, wrestling with and abducting a teacher in front of small screaming children. I just… what the fuck are we doing here.
this morning, ICE went into a Spanish language immersion daycare and took a teacher from the building in front of screaming and crying kids and parents at dropoff and the daycare had to shut down for the day (near Lane Tech, where they were yesterday). Really hoping today's "theme" is not "daycare."

Around Chicago ICE/Border Patrol are mostly just driving around looking for landscaping crews. It’s not targeted by threat or criminal background. It’s just Kavanaugh sweeps of brown men in work clothes operating landscaping equipment to hit quotas. They’re not investigating, they’re hunting
Still haven’t seen a video of neighbors cheering an abduction, still haven’t seen reports of a neighbor pointing out a hiding migrant to ICE/Border Patrol

The only people praising the ICE/Border Patrol terror patrols & kidnappings are people who live nowhere near where they’re happening.

More people really need to understand/reckon with the fact that everyone working for and loyal to this administration is a mask off fascist, firmly believes any opposition to them is a "threat," and that it's their right and duty to suppress that opposition.
Overnight court filings seem to be giving us a peek at what U.S. Border Patrol commander Greg Bovino said in his deposition so far (it apparently continues today):

Lol, thanks for proving my point. Per your link inner-suburbs are outside city limits, and that place isn't. It also doesn't have the culture or resources of one. It's not zealotry to ask that people who don't live in a place defer to those who do when it writing about what is or isn't that place.
Geographical terms of art are geographical terms of art even if they don't match your limited understanding of geography.
