Oh, those shows are too entertaining for night time! My husband and I have a tacit agreement that if we're both insomniac at the same moment we will watch the world's most terrible science fiction movies to bore us back to sleep. This can be tricky. Sometimes they're so terrible they're delightful.

They're able to convince large swaths of voters that the govt is a cesspool of corrupt self dealers, because they themselves are corrupt self dealers. They cannot imagine a person genuinely wanting to serve the public & improve lives. Therefore anyone who claims that mantle must be lying.
