Hi Gabino! Thanks as always. Popping in again with my novel-in-obituaries REMEMBER YOU WILL DIE because it's spooky season and who doesn't want to think about death, the future of humanity, and the ways we try to care for each other through art and rebellion?? bookshop.org/p/books/reme...

And now for something completely different... I am SO EXCITED to share that my good buddy Mary Winn Heider and I co-wrote a comedy murder mystery! Some might notice the real-life influences embedded in this pitch...

Huge thanks, as always, to my brilliant agent @cammc9.bsky.social!!

Thanks as always! Here's Remember You Will Die, told in linked obituaries, spanning 300 years -- about the mistakes we make over & over again, the monied interests we find ourselves shackled to, and the queer, outsider, misfit art that acts as counterbalance. Esquire called it "Moving and grand."

This eligibility post for 2024 is short & sweet! My novel, REMEMBER YOU WILL DIE, is eligible for the SFF Novel category in the award of your choosing. It is told in linked obituaries, spans 300 years & is what the kids call "genre-bending". Here's some reviews! And more info: www.monkeythumbs.com

Love this, and I will add that I think it's good creative practice to do art stuff that you're bad at. Here's a hastily drawn comic I made this week

New year, new TBR pile! Thanks for this! Remember You Will Die is a story told through linked obituaries, but at its heart is the story of an unusual mother and daughter. It's got funny bits, sad bits, mystery, scifi, a bit of time travel, art, misfits, and the horror of shitty billionaires!

Thank you!! Here's my novel - Remember You Will Die - written entirely in linked obituaries, spanning 300 years! About death but also life and art and love and misfits. A lil sci-fi, a lil mystery, a lil bit of everything...

I published a book I'm really proud of this year - Remember You Will Die. It's weird & heartfelt, funny & sad, told in linked obituaries! Everyone's dead! But I hope it can infuse us with sturdy calm as we approach an uncertain future. Maybe a good read for the weird week btwn holidays & new year!
