With 2 x EV cars, fully electric house with no gas supply. My bill for this month was £56.34 and guess what I got paid for exporting energy to the grid? A massive £123.63 for the month of July. Every little helps.

First full month export payment is in. Well what can I say? This is real and dont listen to online naysayers. £103 payment for the month of June for exporting power to the grid...this is awesome 👌

First month of exporting electricity and @octopus.energy paid me £82.94 for my first 20 days of exporting electricity with my solar system.. thats from 5th to 25th of May. Whats not to like about the green energy revolution. I am sure I will beat this amount in June. Watch the space for an update

Update on 17th of May 2025 @ 1345hrs all systems working correctly. Enough power being generated by the solar system to run the house and export some to the grid to help the nation cope with the demand.😉😉

East - West set up all 16 panels working hard and charging my EV at the moment for free. Can't wait to have my export account but in the mean time, I will use every bit of energy I am generating. The panels are generating 7kwh at the moment. Over 95% of its total capacity of 7.12kwh

What's not to like. B4 the solar panels, battery and heat pump, my bill was usually above £100. In winter about £250. Check this out, with heat pump and an EV total bill for the month of April which is my first full month with solar panels & heat pump came to £39 from 1st of April to 24th of April🤩

Just now , 11.27 Sunday 4th of May and my solar panels are going wild. Who said East West system was not a good idea. I have 8 on the east side and 8 on the west side. They are almost at full capacity at 11:27hrs

It's only 12:58hrs today and look at the solar panels doing their thing. It's all systems go. Enjoying the solar panels by @octopus.energy . @gjuk.bsky.social Please can you sort out my export account so I can start making use of the excess energy generated. It's more than a month now

Impressive SCOP from Octopus cosy 6 heat pump. Don't listen to people who say heat pump doesn't work as much as gas boilers. It's better and more efficient. With a SCOP of 4.14 seriously no gas boiler can beat this.

My system is working just fine and I can already see the savings on the Octopus app. This is a representation of the system on myenergi app. Currently the battery is powering the house entirely. Nothing from the grid

Having provided my details and requested for update, this seems to have been put in the too difficult box. Day 5 of a supposed 2 day solar installation and the panels are still on the ground. Shocking treatment

Day 4 of a job that was supposed to take 2 days. Scafolding still up, 16 x solar panels still on the ground and no solution from Octopus regarding the way forward. I didn't want just a powerwall 3 system. I wanted solar panels , battery and also heat pump.
