The global disgrace isn’t just his incoherent ranting, it’s that a man so clearly unraveling cognitively is still allowed to posture as a leader of our country, while the world watches our last shred of dignity circle the drain.

And so the cycle continues: Trump wrecks the market with his own policies, then uses taxpayer money to bail out the damage, and somehow sells it back to voters as a win. Truly exhausting.
Trump is giving another $12 billion of taxpayer money to bail out farmers again from his disastrous policies. Just like he had to bail them out in his first term from his disastrous policies. But they will continue to vote Republican, as long as they keep getting their welfare checks.

If you get your insurance through your job, it’s subsidized by the govt through ESI.

There’s no income cap, it helps the rich the most, and ~1/10 workers in those plans pays no premium.

But when the ACA subsidies help the middle class and provide some zero-subsidy plans? GOP can’t accept that.

Not only is the fed going to meet this week and decide on rates in the absence of 2 months of data (that it will get next week), it’s also publishing a new round of forecasts. Many models use prior data as a significant input so that will be missing. It’s another reason imo to delay the meeting.
