Nerding out a bit here. This is M2 and the vast majority of increase is retail money market funds. Narrower M1 is still well below 2022 levels. and Fed Balance Sheet as a % of GDP has been heading straight down. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.

Fascist Barbie Eva Blonde has quite the mean streak. It seems only 2 of the 40 people had a criminal record and most, if not all, were working. Fine to enforce laws and even deport people, but the glee these people show in human misery is a bit sick, IMO.

Elon Musk is bragging on X that Tesla has been testing driverless Model Ys in Austin for "several days," and seems to be proud of the fact that there haven't been any crashes yet.

Buckle up, Austin!

The total lack of a launch event, or even vetted influencer content, tells you a lot about the situation here. Elon desperately needs some good news from one of his companies right now, and Tesla's tiny "robotaxi" fleet is all he has... but too much attention will expose the massive risks involved.

Musk is running the same basic scam he has been since Tesla got into driving automation: demonstrations "proving" that its systems are "capable" of automated driving. What matters in this technology is not capability, but a level of reliability you can trust your life too. This fleet won't get there

It sounds as if Tesla's Austin "robotaxi" fleet is tiny, and likely limited to a relatively small operating domain in a specific portion of the city. That should give them a few weeks of relatively limited risk in which to build up hype, but as they scale up the crashes will start coming fast.

“dogefather” will be so sad to see this
“This summer, [Waymo is] planning to launch in Atlanta. Next on the list are Miami and Washington, D.C. The cars are now mapping Boston, Nashville, New Orleans, Dallas, Las Vegas and San Diego. This past week, the company announced that it’s testing Orlando, Houston and San Antonio.”
It’s Waymo’s World. We’re All Just Riding in It.
Google’s driverless-taxi company just cracked 10 million rides. If you haven’t taken one, you will soon.

Tesla FSD 13.2.9 will still run a kid down while illegally blowing past a stopped school bus with red lights flashing and stop sign extended.

Elon Musk how many kids does FSD need to run over before you fix this?

I warned about this danger at the 2023 Super Bowl!

Buying fertilizer that you can’t produce in the U.S. is unfair and probably woke. Buying discounted Canadian oil, refining it, and re-exporting the refined product at large profit is unfair and certainly woke. But 43 pounds of Fentanyl gets across a 5,000 mile border per year, so shut it all down.

Has congress passed a law superseding or eliminating the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961?

Has the Supreme Court declared it unconstitutional?

Then why are journalists reporting that Trump and Musk are "shutting down" USAID. They are not authorized to do so.
