After multiple requests and quite a long delay for a single-page public document, the DOC finally produced the letter yesterday. But more than half of it was redacted.
A copy of a letter sent by the Federal Bureau of Prisons to the Colorado DOC requesting a transfer of Tina Peters: "Dear Director Stancil: The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) respectfully submits this request to initiate the transfer of a state inmate from the Colorado Department of Corrections to federal custody for the purpose of serving a state-imposed sentence within a federal correctional institution."
