The same in WA. Not a word breathed about the Pinjarra Massacre, which occurred in 1834.
I was at school in the 50s, learned FA about Australia but know the hierarchy of the British monarchy etc. I seriously thought there were no First Nations people left after colonisation. Only in later teens when I began reading and listening did I realise what a travesty Vic education system was.
