Do note that the relief was not displayed in Iucundus’ house in Roman times! It must have been placed there later to accompany the only other known relief panel depicting Pompeii’s earthquake damages. I thank Prof. Arja Karivieri for clarifying this.

3/3: The relief is very well known because it shows the damages caused by the earthquake that struck #Pompeii in AD 62. We will surely hear more about this. In the meantime, do have a look at reports and articles published in our publication series: ecsi.se/tag/pompeii/
