My uncontroversial take is that social media (including Bluesky) is what took that stuff away, not just tech. If you take away the faux social connections we get by tweeting at someone or watching their videos, would we have more picnics and frisbee games? Imo yes.

Genuine question, how is it harmful if they correlate the blocking to particular interactions? Are you thinking about ban evasion here to get around the blocks and then harass the blocker about the interaction, or something else?
