Deepest condolences to the people of #Japan on the #Tohoku anniversary. Been in a 6.5 magnitude earthquake & can’t even imagine what a 9.1 would feel like, plus the nuclear reverberations were another deep trauma. This photo is the town of #Fukushima only 5 years later — amazing resilience

3/11 is the anniversary of the Tohoku Earthquake in Japan. The 9.1 temblor generated a massive tsunami & nuclear disaster, with almost 20K dead. The photo is radioactive dirt with an astroturf cover, 5 years later in Fukushima
