Excellent to see Labour will NOT allow the use of this bee-killing pesticide this year.

This + deposit return scheme + reforming national parks for nature = great

‘Growth trumps net zero’ = terrible

Some more fantastic footage from our Montrose Basin Wildlife Reserve and Visitor Centre, this time a lovely woodcock enjoying a snack! 🪱

Woodcock can sometimes be hard to spot, preferring to stay in wooded areas where their fantastic camouflage helps them blend in.

One of the reasons David Lynch's work meant so much to me is that he promised that no matter how ordinary-seeming the space you occupy, you contain an unmeasurable quantity of weirdness that deserves expression.
I am promising myself that from here on out, I will try to write even weirder.

I'm on strike today and tomorrow with hundreds of my Guardian colleagues over the proposed sale of the Observer. Much of the brilliant journalism you enjoy for free on the Guardian website over the weekend is Observer journalism... cont'd www.theguardian.com/media/2024/d...

Important context here:

● over half of farms are less than 49 acres (20 hectares)

● "a big farm" is 217 acres.

Now let's see who's angry:

● Clarkson farm is 1,000 acres
● Lloyd Webber farms 4,000 acres
● Viscount Rothermere (Mail owner) 4,700 acres
● Dyson owns 36,000 acres
A message from a REAL farmer who hasn’t been brainwashed by the Tories, wealthy landowners and the right wing media👇🏽
