Political violence is never okay. We must all do our part to lower the temperature. Let this tragedy be a turning point, not another step toward division.

We want to emphasize this is a nonviolent protest from the national organizations down to the locals, we all stand behind this principle.
A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.

In reality, our weakest arguments dilute the strongest. Generally, you’ll only be as convincing as your worst point, so instead of making as many arguments as you can, make only the best."
