Today I spent the afternoon knocking on doors for @efornorth.bsky.social and the #SlateForChange. I'd call Ward 5, Ward 7, and Ward 10 the closest races in town, so if you're looking for somewhere to donate your hours and dollars, those are my recommendations!

I don't think the Ward 5 race is getting a lot of attention, and the Frey guys will likely spend a lot of money on it, so it's a good place for dollars and volunteer hours if you're looking for a progressive candidate to support in the Minneapolis city election.

Knocked on some doors for Ethrophic Burnett For Minneapolis City Council Ward 5 today, and I've got the white knuckles to prove it, since apparently the paint hadn't dried on somebody's door before I knocked on it.

Couldn't agree more! And as it happens, the convention wasn't about deciding the election. It was about which candidate would receive the endorsement of the DFL-- a process that you and your pals tried to slow down and derail at every turn, since you were afraid (for good reason) that you'd lose.
