3rd grade—Shuttle launches were still special events gathered around the AV cart. They just stood there in shock before wheeling the cart out. Never showed a launch again. It was pretty traumatic and taught me that teachers didn’t have all the answers. My parents talked a lot that night.

El Salvador is a tricky one for me too. But I didn’t have any Pollo Campero, nor did I bring any home, so it doesn’t count for me. Airports are funny liminal spaces that transcend all categories.

Conducting commerce outside an airport to be specific. Technically, I’ve been to Colorado and Utah but I’ve never set foot outside the airport so I don’t count them.
