I love the moments when I feel manly, and I hate when people tear me down for aspects of myself I never consented to changing for them.

Oh no, I sure hope someone doesn't force me to improve someone else's life at extremely low cost to myself

"Truth be told, I’m playing the long game here. All I’ve ever wanted from life is a genuinely great SVG vector illustration of a pelican riding a bicycle. My dastardly multi-year plan is to trick multiple AI labs into investing vast resources to cheat at my benchmark until I get one."

Ugh triple whammy. Yes, that's the app. Really nice in a pinch.

For short term needs, I always recommend everyone has two things:
1) earnin, which lets you withdraw based on your worked hours and pays back when you get your paycheck
2) a cash reserve account with your bank, which sort of lets you overdraw but pulls it from a loan instead of whacking you with fee

I think they're great and they're limited and they're flawed and they aren't followed up with action and sometimes the people calling for them / performing them need to be a bit more action oriented if they want to effect change. Give me a way to participate in the righting of the wrong.

Another from the Mosaic law: loan forgiveness! Usury is bad. Lifetime debts are even worse. Release the debts! And allow people to work off their debt, don't force them to be destitute and lose their land and home.

The mosaic law was pretty woke. Bring back gleaning! Why are we starving our neighbors when all domestic food producers are throwing it away?! All grocery stores should allow hungry people to take "from the fringes" - good prepared or bulk food that won't be sold because it's close to its "sell by"
