I know the world is shitty right now, but I finished my first color work sweater! I started the first week of April and Finished April 1, spending about 150 hours on it from start to finish. I’m sorry proud of myself 💕

Bunny, by Mona Awad, was something entirely out of my comfort zone. I am a Sci-fi/Fantasy girlie through and through but I have been trying to branch out.
This book was weird, bizarre, and entirely unhinged, and I enjoyed every second of reading it.

Since Tik Tok is being banned, can anyone reccomend a list of physical copies of books to get that are essentials during a time of racism? Fiction and nonfiction. I’d like to get some from my local used bookstore. #booksky

This past weekend, I went to the Bridgerton Experience at the Centro Asturiano de Tampa put on by Candlelight Concerts. Before the concert, we stopped off at Casa Santo Stefano, before heading to the theater, only a mile away. 10/10, highly recommend.

I used to love reading dystopian fiction in high school.

Reaaaaally not enjoying living through dystopian reality as an adult.

Strange feeling knowing that you are just one of MILLIONS of people getting kicked off of an app, while it’s being shut down.

Today I am feeling extra sad because of the Tik Tok ban. I will miss the communities we built, the connections I have made with so many people who I would never have crossed paths with, the art, and passion projects that came to be cause of this app, the information and education that was available

The people on Xiaohongshu (Rednote/Little Red Book) are so lovely. We’ve been discussing books, knitting, and of course our cats.
