And I will admit, it took me years to get to this point. It often felt like a slog, and like no progress was being made. Now I can see how incremental the progress is, and how important consistent practice is necessary.

In summer it’s bringing friends bouquets from my garden. For my beloved midwife who helped usher my babies into this world, it was a bouquet of sage, calendula, lavender and rosemary. The scent of the herbs immediately caught her attention & lifted her spirit. “Why don’t more bouquets have herbs?”
