Sisters. They live, eat and breathe taekwondo. They compliment one another. Jordan and Sophia just got chosen to go to the Academy in Chapel Hill, NC to train with the top coaches USA Taekwondo has and the Paris Olympians including Faith Dillon who Sophia has already fought at 17.

It was tough deciding which images of the Lady Liberty Hill Panthers to use. Hope. Jubilation. Despair. The emotions were there. Their faces tell it all, what a game to remember even after the final buzzer.

I read “The Demon-Haunted World” by Ann Druyan and Carl Sagan when I was 25 years old. It wasn’t until a friend described a birthday party and she watched the girls with their faces glued to the phones texting each other in the same room. The moment Carl Sagan described is now. No one is concerned.
