S.O. bought it for me, yolo
we had company time off today, so i made this. when i was a kid, even through adulthood, i thought everyone did this kind of thing -- just make stuff from their mind. but not everyone does/can/wants to, so I'm gonna fully lean into it because i am a MAKER damnit. took about 5 hours, just yolo'd it.

too intimidated to pick up watercoloring again so i only did horizontal strokes lol. but you can't call yourself creative without actually creating anything.

it might be crooked, it's fine. not only was this one born with a full head of hair, but she has the temperament of a dragon and i wonder when she'll be able to sit still while awake. meanwhile, i watched an IG where a 1-y-o goes to their first dentist appt with no problem, on the chair by herself

i need help from the #art community. how do i hang up large foam artwork? so far, I've tried Command strips, but you can't apply enough pressure through the foam to the wall to have it stick. i tried metal spikes (pictured) but maybe it was too small bc it just ripped off (also pictured). #stormwind

i recently got a new phone and have been MIA because I've been procrastinating on logging back into all my apps but i came here tonight to say i picked up some sick Warcraft wall decor they were getting rid of at the office and I'm very proud of myself except it didn't fit in the car with the baby

in other news, i discovered that the cat litter box fits perfectly in the laundry "room" so that's been the highlight of my unpacking journey. just getting her acclimated to the space before letting her roam around more.

for every tragic and heartbreaking story i come across istg i will amplify 3 that are beautiful and hopeful because I'll be damned if i cause my (social) neighbor mental suffering by being exposed to such terrible news. with that being said, here's a cat and baby feet.
