I'm gonna try something new: I'll cook them up and then freeze as little cubes in ice trays, transfer to a plastic bag in the freezer. That way I will have handy portions to use when cooking. 😋 😉

The other day I peeled and cored a lot of small apples to bake an apple strudel. Afterwards I thought, what a waste to throw that big heap of scraps away. So I cooked them up, pressed it all through a food mill and now I have enough for two small jars of apple jam. 😋

I like this old Olivetti typewriter displayed at the local biblioteca in Scarlino, Italy. I can imagine it must have kept the hand and finger muscles in strong shape.
