I feel the truth is execs think creatives should be afraid of AI because execs think it’s good. That’s the core issue. Generative AI empowers creatively illiterate people in positions of power to be directly involved in the creative process without any of the skills to evaluate what “good work” is.

As a quick follow up, this is less of a productivity issue and more of an emotional one. These thoughts just kind of hamper my enjoyment of the process. AI has added a layer of competition in my creative headspace that never existed before.
