My sorrowful wolfhound before the vets. She’s been diagnosed with CCF and AF so on meds, including digoxin. What a difference they’ve made 🥰. She is elderly now, her and her sister are both 10 #dogsky

We’ve started offering ‘heartbeat in a bottle’ keepsakes for grieving relatives. It’s a part of an ecg of their loved ones heartbeat in a little bottle. We also offer handprints. I’d be interested to hear what other ICU’s do? #medsky

My ICU is lucky to have this beautiful therapy dog who comes every weekend to visit patients, relatives and us staff. The joy he brings is immeasurable, especially for our longer term pts. ❣️ #criticalcare #medsky #dogs
